OpenPresentation is a presentation and media playback application being developed by HiTech Productions. Designed with live productions, churches, schools, and other presentation environments in mind, OpenPresentation aims to provide a straightforward way to manage and display presentation content during live events.

The software is currently under active development, with new features, improvements, and bug fixes being added regularly.

Alpha Testing

OpenPresentation is currently in ALPHA.

The application is available for anyone interested in testing it and providing feedback. Because it is still in the early stages of development, some features may be incomplete, change without notice, or not function as expected.

You are welcome to download and test OpenPresentation. We encourage users to report bugs, share suggestions, and provide feedback to help improve future versions.

Important: OpenPresentation is not recommended for use in critical live productions without thorough testing and a backup presentation system.

Installation Requirements

OpenPresentation is currently in alpha development and requires Xcode to run.

At this time, OpenPresentation is not available as a standalone application installer. Users who wish to test the software must download and install Apple's Xcode development environment.

Getting Started

1. Download and install Xcode from the Mac App Store.

2. Download the OpenPresentation source code.

3. Open the OpenPresentation project in Xcode.

4. Select your Mac as the build destination.

5. Click Run (or press Command+R) to build and launch the application.

Please Note: Because OpenPresentation is in alpha, the installation process and system requirements may change. A standalone application download may be provided in a future release.

OpenPresentation is currently intended for macOS users who are comfortable installing and running software through Xcode.
